11:FS Pulse comes up on a good third of our Finance+ sales calls, which means we've been doing this comparison live, one call at a time, for months. We figured it was easier to just write it down, so here we go.

The short version: Mobbin Finance+ and 11:FS Pulse answer different needs. Pulse is a competitive-research tool, the thing you open when someone upstairs asks "how do we stack up if we enter the US market?" Finance+ is a design reference library, the thing you open when you have to solve a design flow problem by Thursday. Plenty of teams use both, and which one you need mostly comes down to which of those jobs is yours this quarter.

What they have in common

Both products exist because finance apps are unusually hard to research and benchmark from the outside. You can't see a direct deposit setup without a US bank account and a real paycheck behind it. You can't get past a crypto app's onboarding without handing over your passport and waiting for a stranger to approve it. Business banking, credit builders, prediction markets: all behind identity checks, region locks, and real money. App Store screenshots are marketing assets. So people go digging through YouTube tutorials just to access one real screen.

Both companies do the same unglamorous thing. They get inside the apps for real: real accounts, real money. At Mobbin, we work with actual users of the product to walk us through flows we can't reach ourselves. The similarities end there, though.

How pricing works

11:FS doesn't publish pricing, so googling "11FS Pulse pricing" gets you nowhere. You book a demo, talk to sales, and get a quote sized to your team; customers consistently describe it as per-seat and annual. Finance+ is $399 a month billed yearly, flat, as an add-on to a Mobbin plan. It's on the pricing page.

Per-seat and flat behave very differently as your team grows. Per-seat multiplies your bill: every designer, engineer, and PM who wants access adds a charge, which is how teams end up nominating three people to be The Ones With Access while everyone else Slacks them for screenshots. Flat, on the other hand, doesn't multiply. Three designers on Finance+ pay about $4,800 a year, and twenty designers pay the same $4,800.

To be fair to Pulse, a per-seat quote isn't just buying screens. It pays for the analysts who score the journeys and write the trend reports, and people's time costs what it costs. But if screens are what you're after, you'll have to get your Pulse quote, multiply it by everyone who'll want access, and compare that total to $4,800. Either way, we'd welcome a published price list. So would everyone who's ever googled it.

Where Pulse is better

Pulse's editorial is better than ours. Every journey comes with expert scoring and a written take on what works and what doesn't, plus trend reports and weekly editorials with market and regulatory context. If your job is telling executives what's happening in fintech UX and why, Pulse hands you the analysis ready to present. Finance+ hands you screens and trusts you to draw your own conclusions, which we know is either respect or extra homework depending on your week.

Pulse also has video, which is sometimes a better format. A walkthrough shows pacing, loading states, transitions, the way a flow drags or doesn't. And the coverage is wider: 900+ brands across 50+ countries, against our 61 exclusive apps. If you need to know how a bank in Brazil handles onboarding, Pulse is much more likely to have it, and we'd point you there ourselves.

If your job this quarter is market intelligence, competitive landscaping, or briefing leadership, Pulse is built for that. Monzo, Metro Bank, and Atom Bank vouch for it publicly. Expensive, yes. Bad, no. Opinions on everything between those two, we've heard a few.

Where Finance+ is better

Finance+ comes in when you're done presenting your deck, because someone still has to design the screens.

It's screen-first and searchable, which sounds minor until you've spent an afternoon scrubbing through videos for one confirmation state. Search "transfer confirmation," and you’ll get every version of that screen in the library. Just copy the ones you want straight into Figma; no pausing a video and cropping out the progress bar.

Flat pricing means nobody rations logins. The whole team just uses it, including the engineer checking one empty state at 11pm.

It has an MCP server, so your AI agents can query the library and do the research for you. Ask Claude or ChatGPT how finance apps handle failed transfers and they’ll pull real captured screens right into your chat and run a pattern analysis for you. There's also a REST API on Team and Enterprise plans for piping screens into your own tools and docs: PRDs, project boards, whatever you're building internally. Pulse has nothing comparable today.

And if an app you need isn't in the library, just ask and it goes into the capture queue.

If your job this quarter is shipping screens, Finance+ is built for that.

We’ll be honest

Finance+ is younger than Pulse, and it shows in places. We'd rather you hear the list from us up front.

Coverage is US-only and iOS-only right now. 61 exclusive apps (165 total if you include Mobbin’s core library) against Pulse's 900+ brands, and we add new ones every week, so that number is out of date about as fast as we can publish it. What isn't changing this quarter: if you need Android or non-US coverage today, we don't have it. (Mobbin's core library carries finance apps from other regions, just not the ones locked behind KYC and US accounts.)

Flows get recaptured roughly every six months, so if an app shipped a redesign last month, our capture may predate it. We don't have video, which means no animations, transitions, or timing. And our editorial is thin: you get labeled, searchable flows, and the analysis is on you.

Android, more regions, and more written context around each flow are on the roadmap.

Which should you pick?

If you're a design team shipping finance products: Finance+. You need searchable screens in Figma, and flat pricing means everyone gets access.

If you're a strategy or research team briefing executives: Pulse. The scoring, trend reports, and breadth of brands are the product, and if intelligence is your deliverable, it’s worth per-seat money.

If you're a bank or fintech with both jobs on one roadmap: Both. That might sound like a dodge, but it's what several of our customers do. Pulse for the quarterly landscape work, Finance+ for the day-to-day building. The tools barely overlap, which is sort of the whole point of this page.

If you're a small team watching costs: Start with Finance+ at $399 a month and see how far the screens get you. If you keep wishing someone would explain them to you, you probably want Pulse too.

FAQ

Is there an alternative to 11:FS Pulse? Mobbin Finance+ is the closest one, with a caveat: it replaces the screens, not the editorial. If you use Pulse mainly as a reference library, Finance+ covers that job at a flat price. If you use it for the analysis and trend reports, we don't know of a direct substitute.

How much does 11:FS Pulse cost? 11:FS doesn't publish pricing. You book a demo and get a quote, which customers describe as per-seat and annual. If budget matters to your decision, get the quote early and multiply it by everyone who'll want access, not just the people who'd use it daily.

How much does Mobbin Finance+ cost? $399 a month, billed yearly, as an add-on to a Mobbin plan. Flat price, no seat limit.

Does Finance+ cover the UK / Europe / my region? The exclusive apps are US and iOS only today. Mobbin's core library includes finance apps from other regions and platforms, but not the ones locked behind KYC and US accounts. More regions are planned.

Can I see what's in Finance+ before paying? Yes. The full app list is public on the Finance+ page, so you can check whether the apps you care about are covered before you spend anything.
